Talking about public green spaces (podcast)

This podcast introduces Creative Roots, Blackpool: a project to engage residents of the Mereside Estate with the arts and the open and public spaces on the estate. It opens with Kerenza McClarnan of LeftCoast talking about the background to the project and the series of outdoor events held on the estate over the summer of 2014. We then hear from artists Adrian Pritchard, Lisa Wigham and Linzi Cason about the workshops that they have been leading. Locals and artistsĀ  share their ideas for future projects on the estate.

Creative Roots Blackpool is led by Paul Green of Avant Gardening. The project has been commissioned by LeftCoast, one of 21 Creative People and Places programmes supported by Arts Council England.
