Testimonials

Podcasts

“From the beautiful evocation of a fisherman’s life on the water to the fascinating insights into LUSH’s work reducing packaging waste, the podcasts were a pleasure to listen to.”
Andrew Paine, podcast commissioner at LUSH cosmetics, on the ‘Meet the Maker’ podcast series we produced for them

“It sounds fantastic. I love how you’ve both managed to bring the paper-making process to life and add interest, through the script and field recordings. I could literally see the space you were describing through expertly told storytelling. The audio is crisp and clear, the editing tight and I love the space you’ve managed to create in what must have been quite a noisy environment.”
Andrew Paine, podcast commissioner at LUSH cosmetics on the episode about a master paper-maker

Video projects

I highly recommend Tickertape Productions. Rosie capably turned a very rough idea into a great promo video and podcast series.  I’m very happy with the results and the whole engagement process – very professional indeed.  Thanks so much for the wonderful experience from start to finish.
Adam Wells, Life Planner and Transition Coach

With short notice Tickertape stepped in and managed a full day’s filming with quiet authority and a calmness that helped to relax all of the staff members involved. Our company had to produce a film at short notice demonstrating a new product to help with a commercial presentation, and the team at Tickertape handled the brief serenely and efficiently.

Rosie second guessed our needs and her suggestions helped produce a video that not only helped win over the client and secure the account, but also resulted in the video being used by our client’s sale-force for further pitching.

I am sure we will use Tickertape again and have recommended their services to colleagues in other companies looking to stimulate their presentations.

Spoken portraits

“In capturing [my parents’] voices so beautifully and with such clarity you have created one of the most treasured gifts I will ever receive. An heirloom painted of words. It was so exciting … to listen to in the car with my family on a long drive and felt very much like listening to a personal edition of desert island disks. Every story evoking wonderful childhood memories, each taking me on a rollercoaster of emotions as I learned things that neither have told me before. In many ways it was like hearing them in a new way. … Thank you so much for crafting such a lovingly edited collection of moments from their lives woven so seamlessly together in to the most beautiful volume.”
Jamie

“The Spoken Portrait of my mother was done as a 90th birthday gift.  She absolutely loves it! However, it has in fact been as much a gift to ourselves as to her.  We now have this wonderful story of her life, in her own words, to treasure.  Rosie was a pleasure to work with from beginning to end and she really came to understand her “sitter”.  Rosie’s gentle, encouraging manner with my mother was especially appreciated.”
Donna

Rosie interviewed my father just a few months before his 80th birthday. He had often been taciturn about certain aspects of his past and while there were many questions I had always wanted to ask, somehow, I never seemed to get around to asking. Everything about the process with Rosie was smooth, from the early communication where we discussed the parameters of the interview to the set up on the day.

I already knew this would be a gift for myself and my siblings. What I hadn’t anticipated was how much of a gift we were giving to my father. To be able to wander at leisure through long forgotten memories was an indulgence he hadn’t allowed himself for years. I think it gave him great pleasure to reminisce about the past and I suspect he spoke more freely to Rosie, who has a warm and easy charm, than he would have done if any of his children had attempted the exercise. … We don’t get to keep our loved ones forever but this recording of my father’s life in his own words, is the next best thing. A perfectly preserved moment in time that will hopefully be appreciated by generations of our family to come. I don’t think it is an exaggeration to say that it is one of the most precious gifts you could ever give to yourself and those you love.

Andrew Burke, Chief Executive of the London Sinfonietta

“The testimonial programme you did for us is spectacular. It is such an unusual and wonderful thing to have done.”
Paul Zisman, Chair of the London Sinfonietta

“Thank you so much for developing the wonderful CD to celebrate my birthday! It was extremely imaginative of you to get it all together. The contributions from my friends of many years were most moving.”
Margareta, recipient of a spoken portrait as a surprise 80th birthday gift

“Rosie was brilliant and so efficient turning the project around within a very short period. She contacted everyone to set up interviews, helped them feel at ease during the recording sessions and managed to achieve such a brilliant quality of sound through easy to access online software – so we could all contribute from the comfort of our own homes. My sister and future brother in law absolutely loved [the Audio Tribute] – we can’t recommend Rosie highly enough.”
Clare, on the Audio Tribute she commissioned as a surprise gift for her sister and brother-in-law who had to postpone their wedding due to coronavirus lockdown

“I laughed a lot, I cried a lot, and smiled till my face couldn’t take it!”
