Field study in Victoria Park, 8 May 2014

Tickertape edited and produced this event recording for ‘Stereochron Island’, an offsite research project by Cathy Haynes as Chisenhale Gallery’s artist in residence in Victoria Park in east London, 2013-14.

Cathy invited conservation ecologist Tony Wileman to lead this field study, exploring how we can tell time by natural processes rather than the mechanical clock. The recording begins with Cathy introducing the event before handing over to Tony.
